How long does it take to get candidates?
Typically 10–14 working days from your initial brief to receiving a shortlist of 3–6 vetted candidates. For urgent roles, we can fast-track to 7 days. The timeline depends on how niche the role is and how quickly you can jump on a briefing call.
What if the hire doesn't work out?
We offer a 30-day free replacement guarantee. If the person we place doesn't meet your expectations within the first 30 days, we go back to our pipeline and replace them at zero additional cost. No questions, no drama.
Do you handle payroll, contracts, and HR?
We're a placement agency, not an EOR (Employer of Record). We find and vet the talent — you hire them directly as a contractor or through your own EOR if you prefer. We can recommend trusted EOR partners in South Africa if you need one, and we'll help you get the contract and onboarding right.
What timezone do South African hires work in?
South Africa is GMT+2 (SAST) with no daylight saving changes. That means full overlap with UK business hours, and 6–7 hours of overlap with US East Coast. Many of our candidates are used to working US hours and are happy to shift their schedule to match your team.
What does the placement fee include?
The 70% placement fee covers everything: sourcing from our talent network, five-stage screening (English tests, live skill assessments, culture interviews, reference checks), candidate briefs with our recommendations, and the 30-day replacement guarantee. You pay nothing upfront — the fee is only due when your chosen candidate starts.

We screen for this specifically. Every candidate is assessed on their internet connection, power backup setup (UPS, inverter, solar, generator), and workspace quality. We don't place anyone who can't guarantee reliable connectivity. South Africa's fibre infrastructure has improved massively — most of our candidates are on stable fibre with battery backup.
